I migrated the old site over to fantasynext.com 5 years ago. For the first year I kept the site up to date with daily posts about how the migration was coming along. But then the honeymoon phase came to an end.
Over the past few years, this site has gone neglected. And with no updates, the site traffic that had built up went to zero. The site literally had less visitors in the last three months than the first three months when there was very little content.
With Covid-19 taking down the entire world, I find myself with a lot of extra time and I’d like to revive FantasyNext. But most of the content on the site is outdated and no longer relevant.
So, I’ve decided to remove all the old posts from the blog and start from scratch. Also, I’m removing all the the pages, temporarily, to revise them for 2020 and better reflect where the MMORPG genre is today.
I do realize today is April 1st, but this is not an April Fools joke. The site will be purged, and a new era will begin.
